My Approach to Therapy

I have a strong belief that people are not their problems, and that it is possible to separate who a person is from their problems and join together with my clients to change the story they tell themselves about their life. I believe my job as a therapist is to challenge the client to grow.

In my experience the therapeutic relationship should be safe and inviting and that it is my job to provide a space for people to explore their hopes, worries, fears, dreams and passions. As a therapist, I strive to be a caring, compassionate and accepting companion on your journey. I also think that warmth, humor and affirmation help this process a great deal.
